Donte Jenrette

Donte is the HR Manager at Mickey Keenan, P.A., where he supports the people and processes that keep the firm running. With an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and 11 years in the United States Air Force, he brings discipline, focus, and leadership to every part of his role.

Originally from Philadelphia, Donte moved to North Carolina to finish high school. In 2020, the Air Force brought him to Tampa, and he’s called it home ever since. His military background taught him how to stay steady under pressure and approach problems with a level head.

At the firm, Donte focuses on creating a supportive, efficient work environment. He believes great HR starts with listening and understanding. By learning what the team needs, he finds ways to boost morale, reduce stress, and build a stronger workplace. He values being behind the scenes, where he can solve problems quietly and effectively.

Each day, he relies on attention to detail and strong prioritization to stay ahead. Whether he’s helping with onboarding or resolving a challenge, he brings a calm, thoughtful presence to the team.

Outside of work, Donte enjoys weightlifting, reading, gaming, and exploring Tampa’s local breweries. He also spends time with his Goldendoodle, who keeps life fun and active. In his free time, he works on a personal mental health brand that fuels his creativity and inspires others. And if you’re looking for a fun fact—he’s never had a salad, which always surprises people and gets a laugh.
