Joseph Uccello

Joe Uccello is an attorney at Mickey Keenan P.A. and an experienced trial lawyer who represents individuals injured because of the negligence of others. He focuses his practice in the areas of automobile, motorcycle, trucking and boating accidents, trip/slip and falls, and negligent security.

Joe is a third generation Tampa native. Born and raised in West Tampa, he graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from The Florida State University. After living in Washington D.C. and New York City, he realized he thoroughly enjoyed helping people and decided the best way to make that into a career was to go to law school. He knew the only place for him to go to law school was home to the Tampa Bay area, and Stetson University College of Law.

While in law school, Joe found a passion for trial work and focused on trial advocacy. After graduating, he became a criminal defense attorney with the Pinellas County Public Defender’s Office, handling a wide variety of cases from misdemeanors to felonies. Next, he worked for the law firm of Doyle and McCabe, P.A. where he continued helping people arrested for crimes and expanded his practice to include helping people injured by the negligence of others. In 2018, he decided to solely focus on personal injury cases and joined the legal department of one of the largest insurance companies in the United States.

In 2022, he joined Mickey Keenan, P.A. The firm’s core principles to help injured clients heal, achieve best case results by obtaining maximum compensation, and maintain excellent customer service matched his own compassion and desire to help others in the best possible ways. With the firm’s tools and services, he will take on any insurance company out there.

Joe has tried over 100 cases and for more than 15 years has represented thousands of people. He knows how to overcome obstacles created by insurance companies, what they are thinking, and how they will try to limit or deny fair compensation to injury victims.
