Joseph Uccello

Joe is a skilled trial attorney at Mickey Keenan, P.A., where he represents individuals injured due to the negligence of others. He focuses on cases involving automobile, motorcycle, trucking, and boating accidents, as well as slip and falls and negligent security. With over 15 years of legal experience and more than 100 cases tried, Joe knows how to challenge insurance companies and deliver results for his clients.

A third-generation Tampa native, Joe was born and raised in West Tampa. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He later lived in Washington, D.C., and New York City, where he discovered his passion for helping others. Determined to turn that passion into a career, Joe returned home to attend Stetson University College of Law.

While in law school, Joe focused on trial advocacy and developed a passion for courtroom work. After graduating, he began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney, where he handled cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. This early experience sharpened his litigation skills, built his confidence in the courtroom, and prepared him for high-pressure situations. Later, he transitioned into personal injury law, expanding his practice to help individuals harmed by negligence.

In 2018, Joe shifted his focus entirely to personal injury cases. He also gained valuable insight into how insurance companies operate while working in their legal department. That experience gave him an in-depth understanding of the strategies insurers use to limit or deny fair compensation. Now, Joe uses that knowledge to fight for justice and help clients recover the compensation they deserve.

In 2022, Joe joined Mickey Keenan, P.A., drawn by the firm’s client-centered approach and focus on communication. He believes the firm’s commitment to helping clients heal and achieve maximum results aligns perfectly with his values. Joe takes pride in guiding clients through the legal process, explaining each step clearly, and providing balanced, unbiased opinions about their cases.

Outside the office, Joe enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his family. Whether hiking, exploring new places, or relaxing, he values opportunities to recharge and create lasting memories.
