Karla Escate

Karla Escate is an Intake Specialist at Mickey Keenan, P.A. As the first point of contact for many clients, she understands how important it is to create a calm and welcoming experience from the very beginning. Whether it’s listening with empathy or offering a reassuring voice, Karla works hard to make sure each person feels seen, heard, and supported.

Born in Lima, Peru, Karla moved to Tampa, Florida in 2007. She’s a first-generation college student who earned her A.A. with a focus in Business Administration and is now pursuing her Paralegal degree at Hillsborough Community College. Her bilingual background and clear communication skills allow her to connect with a wide range of clients, creating trust from the very first conversation.

Karla brings a steady and supportive presence to the intake team. She’s known for being responsive, organized, and approachable. To her, the intake process is more than just gathering information—it’s about offering hope and making people feel safe during a difficult time.

Outside the office, Karla loves spending time with her youth group, hanging out with family and friends, and traveling whenever she can. And during football season, you’ll probably find her cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles—a tradition proudly passed down by her fiancé.
