Betsy Mattio

Betsy is the Intake Coordinator at Mickey Keenan, P.A. She serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal representation. Understanding that legal matters can feel overwhelming, she ensures every conversation is seamless, welcoming, and reassuring. By actively listening and asking open-ended questions, she helps clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns.

Originally from Naples, FL, Betsy moved to Tampa and earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of South Florida. Her background helps her connect with clients and provide the patience, empathy, and responsiveness they need. From the very first interaction, she builds trust and reassures them that their case is in capable hands.

Betsy’s passion for the legal field comes from personal experience. At 16, she was in an auto accident that changed her perspective on the legal system. That experience gave her firsthand insight into the stress and uncertainty clients often feel. Now, she uses that understanding to guide others through the legal process with confidence and support.

What Betsy enjoys most about her role is making a lasting first impression. She values the opportunity to set the tone for each client’s experience, ensuring they feel welcomed and heard. Knowing she can ease someone’s worries makes her job fulfilling.

Outside of work, Betsy is preparing for law school in 2025. Her goal is to become an advocate for justice and make a positive impact in the legal field.
