Omar H. Amin joined Mickey Keenan, P.A. after rigorously representing some of America’s most vulnerable – nursing home residents. Omar is a dedicated civil litigation attorney, specializing in personal injury cases, fighting passionately for his clients to get them what they deserve, and ensuring that they are not taken advantage of.
Mr. Amin’s interest in advocating for those who were injured by other’s negligence began at Stetson University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) with a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy. There, he was selected to be a member of the Dispute Resolution Board, where he was trained in the various methods of pre-trial advocacy.
During law school, Omar worked as a summer intern at one of Tampa’s most renowned trial consultation firms, Harvey Moore and Associates, where he watched numerous mock trials, giving him extensive insight into the art of jury trials. As a law student, Omar interned at the Sixth Judicial Circuit, where he observed a plethora of various court proceedings under the mentorship of Judge Pamela Campbell and Judge Amy Williams.
Prior to attending Stetson, Omar finished his undergraduate education at the University of South Florida, earning two B.A.’s – International Studies and Spanish. At USF, he was elected to Student Government as a Senator for the College of Arts and Sciences and was later appointed by the Student Body President to be an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court. His experience and insatiable appetite for justice provide our clients with an advocate who will not settle for less than providing top-tier legal representation.
