TAMPA, FL – Authorities have not reported any injuries from a collision on Monday night between a car and a semi-truck along the interstate in Tampa, reports 10 Tampa Bay.
Police say the incident happened around 9 p.m. near mile marker 167 on the southbound side of I-75, which is near the exit for Morris Bridge Road and East Fletcher Avenue.
Authorities have not yet explained how the accident happened but have reported that the wreck caused almost 100 gallons of diesel fuel to spill from the 18-wheeler.
HAZMAT crews responded to the scene, and drivers experienced significant delays on the interstate.
