Pedestrian critically injured in St. Pete hit-and-run on 4th

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A pedestrian was seriously injured last Thursday night after a vehicle struck him on a busy roadway in south Pinellas County, reports 10 Tampa Bay

Police say the incident happened just before 9 p.m. on 4th Street North near 23rd Avenue North, which is just northeast of Crescent Lake Park.

The investigation so far suggests that a male pedestrian was struck and seriously hurt by a blue SUV.

The SUV left the scene of the accident, and medics transported the man to a local hospital for care.
