No injuries reported in 2-car crash involving St. Pete cruiser

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – One of the northbound lanes of 4th Street was blocked in St. Petersburg Wednesday after an SUV collided with a police cruiser, reports 10 Tampa Bay.

The incident happened in the morning near the intersection of 4th Street North and 62nd Avenue North.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a southbound SUV turned left into the path of a police cruiser. The cruiser overturned, and one of the vehicles crashed into a light pole.

Neither driver sustained injuries in the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
