BRADENTON, FL – A police chase involving two stolen vehicles resulted in a crash in Palmetto and another in Bradenton, Fox 13 Tampa Bay reports.
Police say the pursuit began around 6:30 a.m. in Palmetto near 10th Street E and South Tamiami Trail when authorities located both a stolen Suburu and a stolen Maserati.
The driver of the Maserati crashed on 10th Street near Ellenton Gillette Road, at which time the driver exited the vehicle and got into the Suburu. Police then chased the Suburu south on I-75 until it also crashed off of the roadway near the exit to 53rd Avenue East in Bradenton.
All three occupants from the Suburu fled from authorities but were apprehended soon after. It is unclear if anyone sustained injuries in the two collisions.
