News: Severe traffic delays reported after truck accident on I-4

POLK CO., FL – An early-morning crash involving a semi-truck caused a major traffic jam on I-4 in the Polk City early today.

According to a report by Fox 13, the incident happened sometime before 6 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near County Road 557.

Photos from the scene show a semi-truck crashed in the median, blocking lanes on both sides of the interstate.

It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured in the wreck. However, significant delays were reported in the area for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene.
