News: Senior dies in S Hillsborough Co. golf cart collision

SUN CITY CENTER, FL – A Sunday morning crash involving a golf cart and a pickup truck killed a 92-year-old woman in Sun City Center, reports Fox 13 Tampa Bay.

Police say the incident happened around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Stoneham Drive and Sun City Boulevard.

An initial investigation revealed that the victim was travelling north in her golf cart on Stoneham Drive when she crashed into the passenger side of a pickup truck that was headed east on Sun City Center Boulevard.

The elderly woman died after transport to a local hospital.

The driver of the pickup truck and one passenger did not sustain injuries in the accident.
