News: Senior dies in Bradenton crash with parked vehicles

BRADENTON, FL – An elderly man died Saturday morning after suffering a medical episode and crashing his vehicle in West Bradenton, WFLA News Channel 8 reports.

Police say the incident happened around 7:25 a.m. on Manatee Avenue West when a 71-year-old man lost control of his vehicle and collided with a parked car and a Manatee County work truck. Both of the parked vehicles were empty at the time of the crash.

Medics transported the driver, identified as Brad Davis, to a local hospital. Davis later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities have not reported any other injuries. An investigation is underway. Anyone with information to share regarding the incident can contact the Bradenton Police Department.
