News: Pedestrian killed in Hillsborough Co. crash

THONOTOSASSA, FL – Police are investigating a collision that caused the death of a pedestrian early Monday morning in Thonotosassa, reports Patch.

Authorities say they located a pedestrian’s body just before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Morris Bridge Road and Tampa Oaks Boulevard.

Police have not said if the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene, or if this was a hit-and-run incident. They have indicated that both directions of Morris Bridge Road would remain closed for several hours.
