News: Motorcyclist killed in 2-vehicle Pinellas Co. crash

LARGO, FL – One person died after a motorcycle and pickup truck collided Tuesday morning on a highway in Largo, The Free Press reports.

Police say the incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on the northbound side of US-19 near Whitney Road.

According to investigators, a northbound motorcycle moved from the right lane to the middle lane of US-19 and collided with the trailer on a pickup truck.

The motorcycle then veered into a cement barricade. The driver of the motorcycle died after transport to a local hospital.

It is unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash. A full investigation is underway.
