News: Motorcyclist killed in 2-vehicle Palm Harbor crash

PALM HARBOR, FL – A motorcycle crash on US-19 in Palm Harbor claimed the life of a 21-year-old man from Hudson on Wednesday night, reports WFLA News 8.

Police say the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of US-19 and Pine Ridge Way West.

The preliminary investigation suggests the motorcyclist may have been speeding when his bike crashed into the rear of another vehicle.

Authorities have not publicly identified the motorcyclist but say he died from his injuries after transport to an area hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained non-critical injuries; it is unclear if medics transported him to the hospital.
