News: Moped rider injured in Pinellas Co. hit-and-run

SEMINOLE, FL – A vehicle struck and injured a moped driver near Seminole on Wednesday morning before fleeing the scene, reports WFLA.

Police say the collision happened around 3 a.m. near the intersection of Bryan Dairy Road and Starkey Road.

Authorities have not commented on the extent of the moped rider’s injuries or the circumstances of the crash. They say they are looking for a red or orange vehicle.
