News: 3 hospitalized in St. Pete hit-and-run rollover

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A hit-and-run crash involving two vehicles sent three people to the hospital last Saturday night in St. Petersburg, reports abc Action News.

Police say the incident happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of 4th Avenue North and 3rd Street North when the driver of a champagne-colored Infiniti ran a red light and struck an SUV. The collision caused the SUV to overturn several times.

Medics transported the driver and two passengers in the SUV to a local hospital for treatment. The two passengers have been identified as Marco Torres and 26-year-old Lyric Bushnell. Bushnell remains in the hospital as of July 14th.

The driver of the Infiniti and a passenger fled the scene of the accident on foot. Police are looking for these two men and encourage anyone with information to contact the St. Petersburg Police.
