News: 2 hospitalized in 2-car crash in Clearwater

CLEARWATER, FL – Medics transported two people to the hospital after two vehicles collided on Saturday morning in central Pinellas County, reports 10 Tampa Bay.

Police say the incident happened just after 6 a.m. near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Drew Avenue, which is just east of the Clearwater Country Club and Hillcrest Park.

Officials have not yet released details about how the accident happened. They have reported that one of the vehicles involved in the crash struck a nearby house.

Two people from the vehicles suffered non-critical injuries. Nobody in the house sustained injuries.

The accident remains under investigation with law enforcement.
