DUNEDIN, FL – An SUV and motorcycle collided on County Road 1 in north Dunedin Wednesday night, killing a 49-year-old man.
Patch reports that the crash happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 1 and Michigan Boulevard.
Police say the driver of a black Mercedes SUV was turning left from the northbound side of County Road 1 onto Michigan Boulevard. The SUV collided with a southbound Kawasaki motorcycle in the curb lane of County Road 1. Both north and south lanes of County Road 1 had a green light at the time of the accident.
Authorities have identified the motorcyclist as Bryan Rogers. They say he died at the scene of the wreck.
The driver of the SUV, identified as 58-year-old Cynthia Janssen, was not hurt in the crash.
