Motorcyclist killed in crash with vehicle on US-301 in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – A man died early Saturday morning after his motorcycle collided with a sedan on a Hillsborough County highway, reports The Free Press.

Police say the incident happened around 1:20 a.m. on the southbound side of U.S. 301, just east of the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.

The investigation suggests that a southbound Kawasaki motorcycle crashed into the left side of a vehicle as it turned left from a driveway near the Fairgrounds onto the highway.

The 36-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash.
