Motorcyclist killed in crash on Park Blvd near Gulf Blvd

INDIAN SHORES, FL – A 45-year-old man died on Thanksgiving after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing along a busy roadway in Indian Shores, reports Fox 13 Tampa Bay.

The incident happened just before 5:40 p.m. on the westbound side of the Park Boulevard Bridge near Gulf Boulevard, which is just south of Town Square Nature Park.

The investigation indicates that the motorcyclist lost control of his 2004 Harley-Davidson while negotiating a curve in the road. He crashed into a guardrail, and the force of the collision threw the man from his bike.

Authorities pronounced the victim, identified as Kevin Meade, dead at the scene of the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
