DUI driver crashes into Palm Harbor home, injuring 1

PALM HARBOR, FL – A Palm Harbor man went to the hospital with serious injuries last Friday after a drunk driver crashed into his house, reports WFLA News 8.

The incident happened last Friday night in a neighborhood close to 16th Lane and Georgia Avenue, just south of Nebraska Avenue.

Police say an 18-year-old driver from Dunedin ran a stop sign while speeding, veered off the roadway, and crashed into a house.

After the driver failed a field sobriety test, police arrested him on multiple charges, including reckless driving and driving under the influence.
