Cyclist killed in crash on Dale Mabry at W Leila Ave

TAMPA, FL – A bicyclist died Monday morning after a collision near a busy intersection in the Sun Bay South neighborhood of Tampa, reports WFLA News 8.

The incident happened sometime before 6 a.m. in the area of the South Dale Mabry Highway and West Leila Avenue.

Officials closed the northbound lanes of Dale Mabry Highway in the vicinity of the crash while crews responded to the scene.
