Crash on Howard Frankland slows traffic leaving Tampa

TAMPA, FL – A Thursday morning crash in Hillsborough County created traffic delays for drivers headed from Tampa to St. Petersburg, reports 10 Tampa Bay.

The incident happened just before 6 a.m. on the Tampa side of the Howard Frankland Bridge, or I-275 southbound.

Police have not yet commented on injuries but say that multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. Delays persisted for several hours while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
