Car strikes, kills 2 pedestrians on 4th St S in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A pedestrian crash killed a woman and a man at an intersection in southern Pinellas County on Saturday night, reports WFLA News 8.

The incident happened at 9:30 p.m. in the area of 4th Street South and 14th Avenue South, which is just southwest of Bayboro Harbor.

The investigation indicates that the car hit a woman in a wheelchair and a man as they were crossing the street.

Both pedestrians died at the scene of the crash.

The driver remained at the scene and spoke with police.
