ATV rollover crash kills woman in SE Manatee Co.

MYAKKA CITY, FL – A crash involving an all-terrain vehicle killed a 22-year-old woman Friday morning on private land in Myakka City, reports Bradenton Herald.

Police say the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of Verna Bethany Road and Cline Road, which is just northeast of Bearadise Ranch Bear Preserve.

The investigation indicates that the 28-year-old driver of the ATV lost control of the vehicle, at which point the ATV overturned and ejected all six occupants. The vehicle than ran over one of the passengers, who died at the scene of the accident.

Neither the driver nor the other four passengers sustained injuries in the collision.

A full investigation is underway.
