2-vehicle Tampa collision kills man from Delaware

TAMPA, FL – A 50-year-old man died Tuesday night after his SUV collided with another SUV at an intersection in northwest Tampa, reports The Free Press.

The incident happened around 9:25 p.m. at the intersection of West Hillsborough Avenue and East Longboat Boulevard.

The investigation indicates that the victim entered the path of a southbound SUV as he turned left from the westbound side of West Hillsborough Avenue onto East Longboard Boulevard.

The 50-year-old driver from Delaware died shortly after transport to a local hospital.

The other driver sustained mild injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
