2-vehicle crash at Causeway and 70th in Tampa kills 1

TAMPA, FL – A crash involving two pickup trucks, one hauling a utility trailer, killed a 31-year-old man from Nicaragua on Tuesday night, reports Patch.

Police say the incident happened at 9:05 p.m. at the intersection of Causeway Boulevard and South 70th Street.

The investigation suggests that an eastbound Toyota Tundra hauling a trailer full of concrete entered the pathway of a Dodge Ram 3500 while attempting to turn left onto South 70th Street. The Dodge Ram hit the Tundra, and both cars spun into a nearby fence and sign.

Response teams declared a passenger from the Tundra dead at the scene of the accident.
